What are your hobbies?
Drag ANYTHING!! They are SO talented and I love getting lost in the fantasy. Hip Hop classes - which is an amazing cardio work out! Taking my dog for walks and giving her endless snuggles! I doooo enjoy a great hike.
What brought you to FH in the first place?
After getting sober, I was ready for my body to feel as good as my mind and soul. And FH did not disappoint - Bravo!
How are we so lucky you picked us (what are your favorite things about FH)?
First and foremost, I love the community within FH - it’s absolutely irreplaceable. I really dig the different style of work outs that you offer too, mama likes to shake it up! And don’t even get me started on the coaches!!! THEY ARE THE BEST
What sports or fitness things did you do before FH?
Mmmm I ran around a restaurant 😂 no but seriously a long time ago, I was a basketball player, sprinter, long distance runner, bowler, rock climber.. a big hug giver - still am
What programs are you currently involved in at FH and why?
I like to mix it up! I’m currently doing Persist, TRX and Move Strong. I recently did the Metox group with Molly and the results were mind blowing. For me, food has always had a strong hold on my life style and I was ready to break those chains and say calm down sugar!!!
What goals are you working towards and/or what’s on your FH bucket list of things you’d like to accomplish?
Ohhh. Great question. Mmm.. I don’t really know. I would like to know what my PR’s are. I would love to do some competitions and the Simple & Sinister sounds awesome! I’m just looking for a challenge while getting healthier and achieve bigger muscles! I think it’s real cool that I have muscles now!
What makes you commit to training even on days you don't feel like it?
Someone just said to me “you never regret going to the gym, but you do regret not going.” So TRUE! I’m mentally and spiritually ready for this change and I want it so badly. No pain no gain baybee! Also I get really excited to see the coaches and the other members, the energy at the gym is a great way to start your day.
What's your favorite movement/exercise?
As of right now, anything TRX. I’m really enjoying working on moves that I’m not very good at and slowly but surely becoming good at them.
What have been your “bright spots” (PRs or accomplishments are you most proud of)?
Completely Metox - straight up - so hard and so worth it
How have these accomplishments affected your life?
Absolutely!! I don’t eat nearly as much sugar as I used to and my craving for junk food and eating when I’m bored is practically gone.
What is on your general bucket list for life?
Too be happy. Too feel safe. Too be motivational. Too be kind and experience kindness. Too be successful, in what ever form that looks like. Too love and be loved. Too be healthy, both body and spirit. Too know real peace.
Tell us a little known fact about yourself or what’s something most people don’t know about you?
I hate mayonnaise. Nope.
What's your favorite thing about being a FUELhouse member?
Just being a member and getting to kick ass every week at the gym - duh!
What was your first impression of FH? How has that changed?
My first impression was that it was very welcoming and patient. I still feel all these things but just even more! The most kind people ever and I really feel like you guys give a shit. It’s very personable. It feels like family.
What advice do you have for new (or experienced!) new friends trying out FH?
Just show up, you won’t regret it. Results happen if you work it.
