Questions? We (probably) have the answers!
How do I get started?
Start with a No Sweat Intro—either in person or virtual. We’ll learn about your goals, experience, and schedule, then guide you into the best starting point for success.
Do I need to be fit or experienced to join?
Not at all. Many of our members start with little to no experience. We’ll meet you where you’re at and guide you every step of the way.
What sets FUELhouse apart from other gyms?
We focus on building strength that supports your life. With expert coaching, structured programming, and a supportive environment, you’ll train in a way that’s sustainable—not overwhelming.
What kind of exercises can I expect?
A mix of strength training, bodyweight movements, conditioning, and mobility work. Every workout is coach-led and adapted to your level.
Why don’t you offer drop-ins or ClassPass?
Our focus is on coaching, consistency, and long-term progress. A membership model allows us to better support you and create a more personalized experience.
Do I have to complete Foundations before joining classes?
For most people, yes. Foundations helps you learn our training style, build confidence, and feel comfortable in class. If you have prior experience, we’ll help determine if you can jump right in.
Can I try a class before committing?
If you have experience with free weights, you can start with a free trial week. If you’re newer, we’ll help you find the best starting point through a No Sweat Intro.
What is access like and what amenities do you offer?
FUELhouse is a coach-led gym, so most training happens during scheduled classes or sessions. You can arrive early to warm up, stay after to cool down, and attend open gym times for extra training with guidance. We also offer bike rack access right off the Burke-Gilman Trail, showers, and a free parking lot for easy access however you get here.
How often should I come?
We typically recommend 2–4 times per week. Consistency matters more than intensity, and we’ll help you find a routine that fits your life.
What if I don’t like certain equipment?
That’s completely okay. We’ll always offer options and modifications so you can train in a way that feels right for your body while still making progress.
