Tactical Strength Challenge at FUELhouse

We cannot express enough to our humans the significance of this day and why YOU should sign up.  

We've mentioned numerous times that this is for ALL LEVELS!  If you don't have the KB Snatch figured out, you Swing. If you don't have a pull-up, you attempt a flexed arm hang for time.  If it's been ages since you Barbell deadlifted your bodyweight, we meet you where you're at.  It's not about the leaderboard. It's so much more. It's about being a part of an event that brings you closer to your FH Coaches and your FH Community all in the name of strength, laughter, some adult beverages, and love!

We now have two options for those wanting to participate at TSC.

If you're a member of FUELhouse you either know all about it or can't stop hearing our coaches talk about the Tactical Strength Challenge. This might be, hands down, our favorite event/Holiday of the year to host in October. It's too hard to put into words all the amazing things that happen around training for the TSC and the magic that happens on the actual day. Squads are for all levels (we love training beginners for the TSC;). Honestly, every human should experience at least one TSC event in their life at FUELhouse. So here is everything you need to know…

The TSC is a semiannual strength competition consisting of three events: (1) a three-attempt powerlifting deadlift, (2) pull-ups/flexed-arm hang for max reps/time, and (3) kettlebell snatches/single are swings for max reps in a 5:00 time period.

Preparing requires your focus on different types of strength and endurance—as demanded by real life’s challenges. Join us for this fun spirited, worldwide strength event.

YOU HAVE TWO OPTIONS FOR REGISTRATION:
#1: If you want to be on the official StrongFirst Leader board, competing against others around the world, you can register HERE


#2: If you prefer not to register to compete against others (you’re just doing this to set your own personal benchmark), then you can sign up for the FUELhouse division HERE knowing that your score will remain in-house, apply to our FH leaderboards and not the worldwide SF Leaderboard. Your $30 registration pays for us to host an epic party for you and compensate our team efforts for all the prep that goes into the TSC!

WHAT ARE YOU TRAINING FOR?

The old saying goes, “If you don’t know where you’re going, any road will get you there.” Training is no different. If you lack a specific goal, the time you spend training may easily become a collection of random acts. The StrongFirst Tactical Strength Challenge is a goal worthy of your efforts.

Held every October at FUELhouse—the Tactical Strength Challenge is comprised of three exercises:

  1. A max powerlifting deadlift (three attempts)

  2. Pull ups for max reps (palms forward, no kipping, chin must clear the bar) or a flexed arm hang

  3. Kettlebell snatches or Single Arm Swings for max reps in a 5:00 time period (unlimited hand switches and different weights for different competitor categories).

You know what else is so awesome?
