Who it’s for

Kettlebell enthusiasts who are looking to increase their technical proficiency and overall skills, increase strength, mobility, and embrace challenges! At a minimum, participants must have a basic understanding of/background in the following kettlebell lifts: Swing, Clean, Snatch, Press, Get-up, and Squat. 

What it does

Takes a strategic approach at training smarter rather than harder with the aim of increasing work capacity, strength, and mobility.

What you get

8-weeks worth of education and skills practice 3x/week that is sure to redefine your approach to training, build strength, and improve both cardiovascular and muscular endurance. In addition, access to TrueCoach where you can follow the programming, track your progress, and gain weekly feedback/guidance from your coach.

  • There will be an opportunity for existing campers to extend their 8-weeks into a full 12-week training cycle

FAQ’s

  1. When does it start and when are classes?

    Summer Camp begins June 3, 2024 and will be held in our small group setting on Mondays and Fridays at 6am and 11am!!

  2. If I can’t make my regular Camp time am I able to attend the other camp being offered if my schedule has a conflict?

    100% you betcha if other camps are being offered.

  3. What time is open gym offered?

    OPEN GYM: M/W/F @ 3-4:30, T/TH @ 7am, W @ 8am

  4. What equipment do I need?

    Your body and a growth mindset.

  5. Do I need to lift a certain amount of weight before joining this small group?

    This Camp is essential for beginners, it’s also for the intermediate and advanced kettlebell enthusiast.

  6. If I am a group class member at FH, do I pay for both my group classes plus this program?

    Your registration includes access to all FUELhouse classes. If you are a group class member we will place your regular membership on hold. Please notify Molly when you register so she can place your membership on hold.

  7. Do I have to be a member of FH to participate in this program?

    Heck no! We love it when we have new friends in the HOUSE! Let’s do this!

Please read these frequently asked questions about your journey and acknowledge you understand each policy before registering.

What happens if I need to drop out?

Your first payment is a processing fee due at registration and is always nonrefundable and non-transferable. The second payment is processed 4 weeks from your first payment. Cancelation of the second payment is available if a request to cancel is submitted before the payment is processed due to injury or significant life event. In the case of injury, a doctor's note is requested. If you pay in full and then need to drop out we will gladly transfer your payment towards a future FH camp, personal training or group class membership within that same calendar year.

Can I switch to Private Personal Training?

Dzuh. Life happens! As a Camp participant, you are able to switch from your primary group to 1:1 Personal Training if you’re finding that you would prefer private coaching. That said, switches are always subject to availability of the FH Coach. You will be responsible for paying the balance to transfer to Personal Training.

What if I have to miss class?

If you need to miss a class, we ask that you cancel yourself before the class starts. We are offering “Open Gym” hours for participants to come in and conduct their 3rd training session and any make up sessions.

In addition to your two in-person training sessions per week, we recommend planning for training during open gym and nailing your nutrition with weekly coach check-ins. This is a personal investment in your mental and physical health and is a non-refundable and non-transferable program.

Meet Coach Brian Hurst

FH Co-Captain and Coach

Born & Raised in Salt Lake City, UT. 

Brian’s first intro to fitness was around ‘05-‘06 when he began going to a local gym with his dad doing basic weight lifting (mostly on machines). He fell off the horse for several years until turning 25 and figured out he wanted to take his life in a different direction; that’s when he found kettlebells. He’s been practicing Hard Style training with kettlebells since circa 2014 & decided to become a certified instructor through StrongFirst in 2018 after moving to Seattle to train with and work at FUELhouse. 

Brian firmly believes that when we focus on building a stronger relationship between mind & body we can begin to unleash our true potential.
