Menopause typically begins affecting women between 35 thru 55+. This triggers hormonal changes that will result in changes in our menstrual cycles. These hormonal changes can also impact weight loss as well as muscle gain, especially when going through menopause.
Menopausal years can be an emotional time for an individual. Modern societal values emphasize everlasting youth, culturally devaluing older individuals. People tend to equate menopausal individuals as “getting old” or “going downhill,” and if we buy into any of this, then it can make our transition that much worse.

In this workshop we will be debunking myths around women's hormones and how to learn to eat for perimenopause and menopause. We will discuss the typical hormonal imbalances that make it difficult to lose weight, particularly belly fat, how to tell when your hormones are out of balance, tips on the best fitness and food for this stage of life and how we can reset our hormones starting with our food.
