Members supporting Members: Spotlight on Meghan Bronkema

Meghan Bronkema (she/her) has recently passed her boards and begun her career as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP)! Starting May 1st, she will be offering virtual and in person sessions through Binnacle Psychiatry in Kirkland, serving all ages. She specializes in psychiatric evaluations and medication management of ADHD, depression, anxiety, and many other issues that do not fit neatly into diagnostic categories. Her 15+ years as a nurse brings a thorough understanding of the physical aspects of health and illness, and her decade of practicing yoga and mindfulness techniques have formed a holistic and somatic-based approach that is often missing from conventional psychiatry. She has completed training in ketamine assisted psychotherapy, integration sessions for psychedelic work, and will soon be offering esketamine.

"Using a holistic and trauma-informed approach, I am committed to hearing your story and exploring options to support you, which can include medication management, therapy, and/or deprescribing. I believe every person has the right to thrive and not simply survive, and will work with you or your children to address current issues or to simply maximize wellness. You are the best source of information and wisdom on yourself, and I seek to provide a safe place to explore the complexities of being human. If you are interested in working with me, I would love to hear from you!"

Please contact Binnacle Psychiatry to schedule a 90 minute intake

After registering as a patient, a 15 minute phone call is available to ensure a good fit. Currently wrapping up credentialing with Kaiser, Premera, and Regence, will also work with a sliding scale.

About Megan in her own words…

I enjoy working with people of all ages. I specialize in psychiatric evaluations and medication management of ADHD, depression, anxiety, and many other issues that do not fit neatly into diagnostic categories. My experience in critical care and end of life nursing provides me with an ease in collaborating with medical professionals and integrating physical considerations into a treatment plan. I have training in ketamine assisted psychotherapy, integration sessions for psychedelic work, and will soon be offering esketamine.

You are the best source of information and wisdom on yourself, and I seek to provide a safe place to explore the complexities of being human. If you are interested in working with me, I would love to hear from you!
