First clinic of 2025! Fine Tune your KB Snatch

We’re excited to kick off our first clinic of 2025 with the kettlebell (KB) snatch! The KB snatch is a dynamic full-body exercise that involves swinging a kettlebell from between your legs to an overhead position in one smooth motion. It can be a staple in kettlebell training as it combines strength, power, and coordination.

The KB snatch is an advanced exercise that builds strength, explosive power, coordination, and cardiovascular endurance while strengthening the shoulders, core, and grip. To get the most out of this clinic, we recommend that you feel comfortable with the single arm KB swing before advancing to the snatch. Coaches Vincent and Brian will guide you with a proper warm up that will include single arm swing work.

Here is how we recommend attending this clinic depending on where you’re at in your KB practice:

  • Beginners (comfortable with single arm swings, but have never tried a snatch): start with lighter weights and focus on proper form, to ensure safe and effective technique.

  • Intermediate (confident with single arm swings, and have tried the KB snatch but it’s a newer movement): utilize both light and medium weights during the clinic to get a little feedback from the weight of the bell.

  • Fine-tuners (confident with single arm swings, snatches on a semi-regular basis, and want increase their weight and/or reps, while dialing in their form): have light, medium and heavy bells nearby to test out during the clinic depending on what drill you are doing.

We want you to get the most out of your time and are super stoked for you all to join us on Wednesday 1/29 @ 5:30pm! While you’re here, check out Brian and Vincent’s video below to learn more about the why.

Registration closes end of day Monday 1/27/25 so we can plan for your attendance. Registration details are below.
