THIS WORKSHOP IS FOR:
All humans (general population), everyday athletes, weekend warriors, kettlebell enthusiasts, gym members, Practitioners, Instructors, Coaches, Martial Artists, Professional Athletes and Team Doctors looking to improve power, endurance, and energy systems training. Specifically we will focus on strengthening your overhead positions, improve your grip for Deadlifts and Pull-Ups, and sharpen your snatch technique for maximal efficiency and safety! You will learn how to apply the nuances of grip and hand position, controlling the path of the bell, and generating power in the Kettlebell Clean, Press, and Snatch, creating safer, smoother, STRONGER movements from the ground to overhead.
Law Enforcement and First Responders who are interested in enhancing their movement foundation to perform better. Learn the skills and breath work taught in our StrongFirst Workshops directly related to the demands in the field. The Kettlebell Deadlift, Clean, Press, and Get-Up strengthen the trunk (your abs, lats, back, glutes, and grip!) to support the lengthy requirements of wearing duty belts, added gear, and moving efficiently for long amounts of time on your feet! The Kettlebell Swing and Snatch is a blend of power and strength-endurance, supporting the ability to act quickly with control and focus, maintaining a clear head and strong movements under fatigue or uncertainty. The breathing techniques in these movements that require tension AND relaxation enhance the ability to focus on the task at hand and contribute to overall health and longevity, supporting your time both in the service and in your life.
Quality over quantity being a primary principle at the StrongFirst School of Strength supports one of our main objectives of moving better as we move more, with strength, control, and without injury. To attend this workshop, we recommend you be competent in swings, get-ups, and goblet squats.

The one-arm Clean-and-Press will rival any other pressing exercise when it comes to shoulder strength and muscular development.
