PROGRAMMING UPDATE

Here’s what you can expect for group class programming over the next 6 months at our HOUSE!

Rest of April thru May 2021: train for Memorial Day Murph Challenge and The RKC Deep 6, focus on high reps and foundational movements.  (For Murph, we will have several different modifications and scaled options). To prep for The Murph, we’ll focus on running, rowing, biking, jump rope, push ups, pull-ups and squats! Higher reps, lower weight, and bodyweight movements. To prep for The Deep Six, we will continue to practice and drill into single arm KB movements: SA swings, snatches, cleans, presses, SA front squats & the TGU! We will test The Deep 6 on Thursday, May 27th and the Murph on Monday, May 31.

June and July 2021: Focus on Front Squats/Thrusters, Swings, and TGUs.  Retest Simple and Sinister and the benchmark "Fustercluck" (from the fall) 20 Min. AMRAP (5 BB Thrusters, 10 KB Pull Throughs balancing valslide on back*, 15 MB Slams)

August/Sept/Oct 2021: Prep for our version of The Tactical Strength Challenge.
