COACH JULIA

We are thrilled to welcome our newest coach, Julia, to the FUELhouse family!

Julia's fascination with movement and its effects on the brain and body began at a young age. Growing up with scoliosis, she was introduced to various movement modalities and quickly understood the importance of exercise and mindful movement. Her journey led her to become a certified yoga instructor in 2017, driven by her passion for preventative care. Julia believes that an active lifestyle is the greatest gift of preventative care one can give themselves.

Eager to inspire others to move their bodies in ways that encourage curiosity, compassion, and strength, Julia expanded her expertise by becoming a certified strength trainer. She recently left her tech job to pursue coaching full-time, driven by her love for connecting with people and helping them become the best version of themselves. Julia is particularly passionate about functional kettlebell training and its role in promoting longevity, and she enjoys cross-training with kettlebells and yoga.

From the moment Julia found Fuelhouse, she felt at home within our community. Her dedication to fostering a supportive and motivating environment makes her a perfect fit for our team.

Outside of coaching and teaching yoga, Julia loves to travel, spend time with her family, partner, and dog, cycle, and explore the outdoors. She moved to Seattle from the Midwest in search of adventure and new experiences. As a lifelong learner, Julia embraces every opportunity to grow and try something new.
