New (to FH) Yoga Instructors to try out in March!

Come to FUELflow and check out FH member, Cindy Cheung as she leads us through our Sunday yoga! Cindy joined the FUELhouse community in January this year coming from Industrial Strength in Portland, OR. Learn a bit more about Cindy below and join us on March 16th to give her a big FH welcome!
Cindy received her 200 hour Yoga Certification in 2015 from Body Temple Yoga and is currently enrolled in her 500 hour at Breathe Together Yoga. She has taught yoga geared towards martial arts at the UFC gym, vinyasa, hatha, and globally in Panama, Costa Rica, and Thailand. In her spare time she enjoys training in Muay Thai, Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, Kettlebells, & Weight lifting. She received her doctorate in Naturopathic Medicine and is currently a student of Acupuncture. Using her knowledge base, she enjoys integrating strength with mobility into her practice, teaching modalities, and empowering her patient clientele. She enjoys sweating in the community & connecting with people on & off the mat every opportunity she gets!

My yoga journey began with studying Ashtanga while I lived in India. I then traveled to Nepal to complete my initial teacher training course, which focused on classical Hatha yoga. Upon completion of this course I returned to India to teach Hatha yoga, focusing my classes on helping students build strength, flexibility and balance while aligning the physical, mental, and emotional bodies. My classes encourage stability in body and mind through slowing down the sequence and holding postures longer than in a flow class.
