All New Programming!

FUELhouse Fam!

Let’s talk about programming. Summer is heating up and so are the classes!  Here’s what you can expect to see on the whiteboard August-October:

  • Monday and Friday Persist - We’re shifting these days to bigger blocks of work.  Some days we’ll combine Strength and Conditioning and some days you’ll see some longer EMOM’s, Descending Ladders, and Chippers.  The focus these days will be more reps, a little less down time and talking.  Plan to get more work in, use a little lighter weight, and really focus on strength endurance, conditioning, and quality movement.

  • Tuesday and Thursday Kettlebell+Bodyweight Practice - Over the past few months we’ve been focusing on Simple and Sinister and Deep 6.  This month we’re shifting to bigger blocks of work and more variety.  We will focus on Kettlebell Snatches once per week, and all other movements will be varied.  You’ll see some heavier strength days, and some lighter high rep conditioning focused days.  Get ready to hone in your Snatch technique and skills!

  • Wednesday MoveStrong - August is your last month of MoveStrong for a while, so get it in while you can!  This month you can plan to see movement prep or a hot start to get you going, and then 6-10 minute stations.  You won’t see running or cardio between the blocks of work, but that cardio will be built into the work periods.  We’ll continue to focus on stability, mobility, core, single arm, single leg, footwork, and conditioning to keep you Moving Strong!

  • Saturdays- Did someone say Barbell??? Yup, we’re adding Barbell back to the schedule at 10am on Saturdays beginning August 13th. Here we’ll be working on all the major power lifts- Squat, Bench, Deadlift, Press with sprinkles of all the necessary accessory exercises!

With new programming comes new focus! Therefore, this is the perfect time to get recommitted to your fitness and book a member check in with Molly to nail down your goals around your movement, mindset and fueling your body to perform in and out of the gym!  Book a check-in HERE!


The Tactical Strength Challenge will be held at FUELhouse on October 29th and while that may seem forever and a day away THIS IS THE TIME to get serious about your fitness and find your baselines for movements like your Deadlift, Flexed Arm Hangs, Pullups and KB Single Arm Swings and KB Snatches.  TSC Squads are now forming to prepare for this epic day!  We will begin official training with our Squads on September 6th to get you dialed in and ready to compete against yourself at our TSC event!  This is NOT the TSC to miss because it will be the 20th year anniversary of the TSC for StrongFirst and the 10th TSC held at FH!  And you better believe we’ll be wearing costumes so please get in the spirit and commit to this awesome day with your friends!
