MAIN GOAL: To prepare and pass the StrongFirst KB certification.

Tell us why you decided to invest in personal training/online remote coaching/nutrition coaching?

I find the workout to be more effective and less prone to injury when working in a 1:1 setting. I was also looking for a SFG instructor to help me prepare for the SFG cert.

How has Your Coach helped you with your health/fitness journey? What goals have you reached and have you established new goals?

For sure! I started working with Brian in Jan 2020 and the goal was to be certified by strong first in either this april or october. I had some experiences with kettlebell but was really plateauing on the weight I can lift or swing. We started all the movement at 10kg (heavy). Within a month I was able to do 100 snatches in 5 mins with the 12kg kb and was crushing the 12 kg kettlebell workout. Most importantly, no pain or injury. Since the cert has been canceled due to covid-19, we are now working on moving with the 16kg. The new goal is to pass the SFG level 1 cert in october with 16kg. Note: we didnt set any goal to improve the aesthetic part but the result is pretty amazing. Even my chiropractor was amazed the other day.

What is your favorite thing or the benefits you'd like to share about Personal Training/Online Coaching/Nutrition Coaching? Has it changed the way you feel about yourself and your abilities? If so, how?

The immediate feedback is so crucial. I feel more confident when I workout on my own because my body/brain now knows what to look for when it comes to maintaining/self-correcting form. the 1:1 session is just effective and efficient period

Any advice for new or potential members of FUELhouse or those getting back into a training/nutrition routine?

Fuelhouse has high quality coaches and is really more than just a gym. If you can afford it, I strongly recommend you work with one of the coaches in a 1:1 setting to get your form and everything refined. Kettlebell is a big thing at FuelHouse but they are also big on barbell related workouts. Fuelhouse also has a variety of classes. The group class programming is well-designed and goal driven. Fuelhouse just offers so much it's hard to beat.
